"We loved the staff at Wilde so friendly and outgoing. We were less enamored with our rooms. Some things in both rooms we had didn’t function properly (blinds, lights, etc). Room was either freezing ir we had the heat off or felt like a furnace or we had it on. We also found that the “apartment” part of the room was not well utilized by us. "I have stayed in many accommodations In Edinburgh but this has got to be one of my favs they thought of everything even down to a little magnet that covers the cooker digital click incase the light bothers you at night ! Room was beautiful and so clean alongside the amazing attentive staff this is a property I will most definitely be visiting again "

"This was a great stay to be in the center of Old Town Edinburgh. We lucked out with how amazing this hotel was and where it was located. It is literally on the street from St Giles Cathedral and Scott monument was visible through our hotel window! Highly recommend."

"I chose Native because of the price point as well as the fact the studios have a kitchenette, which was perfect. The room was cosy and a really good size. There were great features like an extra folding chair in the cupboard , so an extra guest could sit at the table to eat, and the clever dining table was great too. "The location was great, walking distance to everything. The property is clean but little bit old, and we had an incident with one of the rooms that we booked plus the terrible communication between us and the staff that made us really unhappy. Also the bed is too small."

Great hotel but note Spa is an "add on".

"Perfect 2 night stay for my wife's 40th birthday surprise. The room and hotel overall were spotless. The only negative we had was that the rooftop Spa is not included in the price and is an extra £35pp (discounted from the regular price of £90pp) for a 3hr slot only which was a little disappointing when it is advertised as part of the hotel experience. We did add this on though and the spa is very good and worth the discounted price but definitely not the full £90pp for 3hrs access. Breakfast is highly recommended great selection and quality."
