This property is one of a kind! We were greeted by a lovely gentleman at the front desk who explained everything in great detail to us (how to add on breakfast, how to use the honesty bar, opening times for the front desk etc) and quickly checked us in.
Our room was on the ground floor, situated by itself which added to the quiet luxury! It was spacious, clean and understated. The bathroom is huge! A huge free standing bath was also the perfect addition! There is plenty of storage space and the modern USB style charging plugs were very handy as well as access to streaming services on the TV.
The bed was so comfy (soft) and we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was during the morning (no noise from the main road or cars in the car park). As an avid tea drinker, there were so many options, I was spoilt for choice! The little touches added to the stay as well - a little welcome pack of snacks, a little teabag dish, homemade cookies!
The team were so kind, friendly and helpful - nothing was ever too much bother! (Getting some extra water or extra towels or cutlery)
We didn’t get to make use of the honesty bar this time around but certainly will on our next trip - we think it’s a great idea!
We’ll definitely be returning and I would recommend for anyone to stay here for a peaceful, understated luxury stay.

Lovely 2 night stay for a special weekend trip to Bath.
Stayed in a king deluxe room which was perfect, bathroom was huge with a massive bathtub.
Breakfast was superb, choice of cereals and some fruit, yogurt and pasties, and then could order cooked breakfasts also.
Nice 30 minute walk into Bath, through a lovely park which brings you out right in town and an easy detour to the Royal Crescent which is worth a look.
Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Lovely quiet “boutique “ hotel with lots of space in the rooms.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff.
A great place to stay if in Bath.
The only downside is the limited menu for evening meals which is the same every night. We found the contents of the menu not to our taste .

The property was nice. The staff were helpful and friendly. I just wish I had realized the property was so far from town.
