We needed a stop on a cross country trip, and found this little gem. A lovely listed Georgian house with a very nice garden. The owner was very welcoming, the room was lovely and the breakfast delicious! We'll certainly go again.

An absolutely amazing b&b. Pablo and John are the nicest people and made us feel welcome. The house is gorgeous and the rooms are beautiful. Honestly I can’t wait to visit again.

We had a great overnight stay at The Lions and John & Pablo were excellent hosts and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. The room was spotless; the bed incredibly comfortable and the full English breakfast was superb. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Newark and a big thanks again to our hosts for making it such a pleasurable experience.

Stay at the Lions B&B

Wonderful little B&B run by John and Pablo. Beautiful room, huge bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Great breakfast and excellent hospitality. Short walk into Newark Town. Remains of the old castle on the river are worth a visit. Lovely river walk.

A lovely welcome and excellent care and attention for our overnight stay. A very comfortable stay in a tasteful and well cared for home. Wide choice of options for breakfast -the quality was superb and endorsed by the opportunity to enjoy it outdoors on the patio. Thank you
