The staff were so sweet! However, there was a used item in our room. I didn't see it until I moved the sheets. It was so off putting. They gave us a new room, but that was a little crazy to see.

I would have given a five star but our stay didn't start off very well. When we arrived at the airport I phoned the hotel (as they suggested) to let them know that my partner and I were waiting at the shuttle bus pickup point at the airport. I was told that a shuttle would arrive in approximately 30-40mins. Two hours later we were still waiting! We went back to the airport terminal were a very kind lady helped us. To cut a long story short, an uber car was finally sent to pick us up from the airport. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist told us that the uber driver forget to come and pick us up?! Needless to say our first impressions were not very good. The remainder of our stay was pleasant enough. But unfortunately we won't be staying at the Kenilworth, again.

The deadbolt on the door was hard to lock…. I had to lift up on the door pretty hard to get it to lock. The tv screen is also partially distorted. I meant to tell the front desk receptionist on my way out but it slipped my mind.

I stay here everytime I travel to NJ. Very convenient to Newark airport. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Lots of dining options nearby.
