A nice, human- scale NYC hotel well away from the insanity of the tourist areas served by day-trip buses. We had no issues with anything during our 4 day stay during the week before Christmas. Shower/bathroom and beds were particularly nice. We especially liked the three-tier shelving over the toilet for our stuff. The bathroom tilework was beautiful in room 1206. Other guests were mostly older (40-60) couples and we saw few kids- which for us is a blessing. The bar and lounge area was relaxing and comfortable during the evenings and appeared to be a destination spot for younger couples after 10pm. Drink service was friendly and professional. Overall we would make an effort to stay at the Wallace again.

First floor room was a little noisy until about 10pm as it is next to their cozy lounge. Loved seeing live music and their happy hour was enjoyable. Overall, the rooms were clean and spacious for NYC and I would gladly return.
