The property was very clean and well appointed. The problem was when I got there the room they gave me. They had a king size bed in that bed took up all the room in the room. There were no chairs to sit. There was no place to place your clothing there was no armoire closet to hang your clothing and so I kept my do not disturb sign outside my door the whole trip because had someone come in and tried to clean I would never find my belongings again on the map saying where everything was in the hallway or incorrect trying to find ice was an adventure and the last two days one of the elevators went down the last day both elevators were down as I said it was clean, but I would not go back there again thank you

The hotel staff was very nice. However the hotel is in a bad spot next to a non-stop subway. The hotel room walls are very thin and I could hear people snoring or yelling or partying from the other side of the hotel. Hotel was very dirty, found *love stains* on the furniture and even some free toe nails. Tv, phone, hair dryer, and coffee maker didn’t work. Not all the outlets had power. Staff didn’t really do anything about our concerns. The area also isn’t the finest for Brooklyn. No parking.

Very bad parking, the property has no parking servicer at all, other customers are very loud, slamming doors all day/night, rooms are small, you can hear the elavator all the time, you can hear people from Inside and outside the rooms, the beds are comfortable though

Overall I enjoyed my stay. The staff were brilliant - friendly and helpful. My room was clean and (for New York) excellent value. The only issues were the adjacent rail tracks and lack of much to do in the immediate area. The trains weren't constant, but you'll probably want to bring ear plugs as I did if you're a light sleeper. The hotel has only recently been taken on by Wyndham so I expect that is why there was no breakfast as advertised. I did email Wyndham before arriving as I had seen previous guests complain about this, but no reply and no change to the listing so can only assume the misleading info is deliverate at a company level - again, the staff were fantastic. Thus knocked off a star for facilities. There was WIFI, contrary to other reviews so guess that has been installed recently. Also, I was not required to pay a $100 deposit against violating the smoking ban (though there were still signs to that effect). There was also no sign of the rooms being used as a hostel and the area seemed safe enough to me. Overall I liked it here, it was a perfect budget option for the NYC marathon if you're ok with traveling a bit longer to get to things. I would definitely stay again. If Wyndham could have been bothered to reply I would probably have rated higher.

Very solid, clean, great location, staff was friendly and helpful, i saw other people complain about the train noise on here before booking, but i wasnt bothered by it overall would reccomend espescially for the price

The hotel wasn’t clean at all.. the beds were dirty and the staff wasn’t helpful about the early check in and they made me pay. That wasn’t the issue, the horrible side was when we got the room after flying for 6 hours they told us you will get only one room because the second one will be ready after 4 hours (even with paying for the early check in) they had the 6 of us to sleep in one room and they were so loud and the cleaning staff was playing loud music and laughing with their friends so loudly. It was the worst experience ever

The building and hotel are new and that is the saving grace. Staff were very friendly and polite. Our room was poorly sound insulated and you do hear other guests pretty loudly when they are in the hallways. Our main criticism is the housekeeping. We found an old sock on the floor and used water cup on the windowsill. The towels are new and clean. It’s not the worst I’ve seen but give it 3 months at this level of care and it will be grim. Easy transportation from JFK and it was the cheapest option on the night we stayed so I wasn’t expecting luxury. If the cleaning was better it would be fine for an overnight stay.

The front service was friendly except I reserved on Expedia using the pay at hotel option and they called and made me pay a deposit ahead of time. Also I reserved two double beds and was given a king room instead. Room was smaller than in photos but was very clean. I’d stay again for the rate alone, it was pretty good for a holiday weekend.
