Had a little staycation with my daughters, First time at the Moxy and will definitely be returning. Staff was friendly and room was beautiful and beds comfortable.

Near subway station, very friendly staff, clean room, big enough room and bed for me and my teenage kid. Not big enough for more than 2 people. Loved the area as I could do my laundry, get water, and eat around the place. Very clean and modern design and feel. They give you allowances for free food and laundering!

Although the property was nicely decorated and beds were comfortable for the price the amenities veered sparse. 2 paper cups in the room. One very small metal chair. Nothing available to warm up some food. The nose relaxing indoor space was constantly unavailable to guests and the upholstered couches and chairs were so stained! Lobby/bar area was small, crowded and loud. Would not recommend unless that’s what you’re looking for at $650/night!

I liked the hotel, and for the most part, everything was fine. The property was nice, and the staff were wonderful! Everyone was friendly and helpful. This part of Brooklyn is very safe and easy to walk to shopping and dinning. We did have a few issues. There’s no place to unpack your bags - no closet, drawers, etc. The shower is very small, the outlet by the sink didn’t work, and the toilet ran the entire week. Honestly, none of these items was a big deal and we enjoyed our trip and would stay here again.

Good: Convenience of bar/restaurant at hotel lobby, somewhat near subway line (need to take bus or walk 10-15 mins), a lot of food options if walk down Broadway.
Needs improvement: Cleanliness (pillows and towels had stains), need better sound proofing (heard very intimate couple next door), destination fees should be optional. Also, I get that breakfast bar can be busy in the morning but we had to wait 10 minutes before servers even acknowledged ylus and took our order, and the macchiato I ordered was only half full- definitely did not make my morning....
