We stayed here because we wanted to be within walking distance to Madison Square Garden. Convenient to everything, restaurants, pubs, groceries, liquor store, coffee shop, nail salon, etcetera. Public transportation is about a block away. The staff was very helpful with anything we needed. Although there are no microwaves or fridges in the room, there are a couple of microwaves throughout the property that you can use and they do have mini fridges upon request based on availability. Luckily they had one and delivered it to our room. The room was VERY clean and the bed was comfortable, but the room was VERY small. We had a king room and only had enough space to walk around the bed and that was it, which was fine with us because we were just there to sleep and spent most of our time out exploring the city.

Likes: location, more reasonable than most places around, in room coffee, decent gym.
Dislikes: small room (expected), shower didn't work. Reported it in the morning, came back at the end of day and no one had been to the room to check it. Had to then repack all our stuff and change rooms at night. Expensive for what it is, but that's Manhattan.
