Rough sleepers outside sheltering the scaffolding outside the front door basic bedroom and roll inn bathroom, you have to hand your credit card you paid on to receive your key card, no free upgrade or breakfast given even though I am a platinum member with Expedia / Hotels.com and to top it off never charged anything to the room had breakfast there as it was $20 per person for continental breakfast so spent nothing and on my return home landing at airport had been charged over $300 for nothing as a paid as I go in the shop and charged nothing to the room also gave $40 dollars per staff , receptionist , doorman , cleaner and lobby man in a Christmas card for a rip so now have the hassle of finding out what/ whos bar bill has been charged on my card that I didn’t sign for or get a final bill as I was leaving and will be a hassle to try to get back !!

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, as we rely on this feedback to improve our guest experience. We understand that you may have been dissatisfied with your stay, however these claims are unfounded. We do not require the credit card you used to book, we simply ask for a credit card for a 100 security deposit, as stated on all of our booking sites. Additionally, we provide complimentary upgrades upon availability to Hilton Honors members exclusively, not Expedia members. Lastly, you were charged 272.19 as a smoking fee (listed on our sites as 250+tax) as due to the overwhelming odor of cigarettes you left behind, we had to keep your room out of order for two nights to treat the room for the smell. Thank you again for your feedback.

Old facilities, sheets were not clean, took awhile for the heat to warm up the room, but overall I would stay there again. Hotels in Manhattan are expensive and this was the best I could find for in my budget. The location was AMAZING and within walking distance to most everything we wanted to see. Towels were nice and having a refrigerator and microwave in the room was a huge plus! Also, one of the few places I could find with two queen beds. Do it!!

We stayed here for a week during the Macy’s Day parade. It was perfect for our stay! Just a few blocks from Macy’s, it was a good walk to see all the holiday sights. The paint might be peeling in the bathroom and the front desk might not tell you there’s free, delicious coffee and tea downstairs in the lobby in the morning. For the price though, it was still a great deal with two queen sized beds. The concierge was not very knowledgeable about the area but we had google. Hindsight tip: leave the hotel by 5:15am as the streets around Macys are blocked off so you have to walk around. The block of 36th and 6th is a “quiet zone” where the parade has to stop playing and singing bc it messes with the feedback of the live production. Snag a spot higher than 37th for more fanfare, although 36th was still fun and close enough to run back to the hotel if needed. Incredible experience and this hotel was great for us, surrounded by flower shops. Ramen across the street and a pizza place on the corner of 28th and 6th that will make you feel like a VIP.
