Resort fee is a bit too much. Especially if only two small bottles of water offered at check in. Kitchen is missing microwave, potholders/oven mitts, ice tray to make ice in freezer. Location is perfect. Too bad restaurant Madre only open Wednesday-Saturday.

Liked: Easy check in, nice staff & large/beautiful room with kitchen. Dislikes: Heating unit too loud & noise in hallway/upstairs (granted it’s an old building). I’d recommend this unique hotel!

A Stay for an Experience and Overall Comfort
The stay at Franklin Guesthouse was perfect. The room definitely gave the feel of staying in an apartment. It felt like you were home. The amenities included within your room were more than a standard hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful when finding something within the area (i.e. restaurants, stores, etc.). I would consider staying here again when I visit the area in the future.

For my purposes, the location was key. My room was very clean and spacious. I wish there was bathroom counter space. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. I feel the lobby could use a little renovation.
