What a disappointing experience and stay. Great staff and amazing people who work the desk, the door, and housekeeping! That being said the hotel is beyond run down. A toilet that kept running had to have maintenance come at 1am and again the next day- old mattresses - unable to use the heater in the room - lumpy dust filled pillows - old paint cracked and no ventilation in the bathroom. Will not be coming back. Ugh

Staff was incredible and room was good value for the money. However the rooms are outdated the ac/heating unit is a menace, it’s loud and aggressive super hard to adjust temperature in the room.
Hotel is located in a nice area and is very walkable

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. Excellent location. Room small but clean and comfortable. Only issue was the lack of natural light in the room, and we found the heater/air conditioner quite noisy and antiquated. But would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Good location. The building was built in 1923 so the bathrooms are on the small side and have no ventilation and get steamy, which can be hard for people with breathing challenges. The hotel is in the heart of Manhattan and you can hear street noise (sirens/horns) in street facing rooms.
