However, the lack of communication during the power outage was concerning, especially since we were not locals and had no idea what to expect if the outage continued indefinitely. "We gave the Wilmington Inn a 5 star rating due to the room being clean and comfortable. Upon arrival the receptionist was friendly and easy to deal with. The hotel is walking distance to nice restaurants. We felt safe at the location. That has not always been the case in some hotels we have stayed. "

"This was the 3rd time we stayed here and we were told that the 2nd time we were there that the bath mat was wet and left on the floor by the bed and used to clean up floor. Then he said it had to be thrown away. Mind you we didn't even know this happened and we are talking about a $3 bath mat. We were also told we were going to be charged a $35 deposit for our stay the 3rd time. He did forgo the deposit but we were not very happy."
