Short break away
Posted 20 Sep 2024 on HotelsStayed in New Quay many times but this was our first stay at The Penwig and it didnt disappoint. We booked a sea view room which was lovely as you could sit in the morning and watch the dolphins out in the bay. The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfasts were tasty with a few choices and also catered for vegetarians.
The staff were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. There is no onsite parking but we used the carpark around the corner. It does get a bit noisey early in the am with deliveries to the pub and surrounding businesses etc but it wouldnt deter us in staying again.

The hotel was well situated and we had a lovely sea view. It was a little noisy outside at times, particularly in the mornings but to be expected in a seaside location.
Overall we couldn't fault it and had a very pleasant stay :)

Great stay
