The parking situation should be better explained upfront before arriving as we were not aware that there was a designated place for hotel guests to pull in off of Bienville Street. We parked on the side of the road as far over as we could to go inside and request a valet. It was a bit stressful with cars behind trying to get by.

Hotel was very unique, rooms were very nice, staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking is very expensive but valet is the only way to go. Enjoyed our stay very much and would return again.

There are a ton of positives and no negatives. Free bottled water. No gimmics. Location was just off of but on street and next to a ton of fun stuff in the quarter. Staff were outstanding. We got some amazing recommendations from Sonja. Try out Felix oyster bar. Right down Burbon. And the rooms were nice and clean. You can’t expect silent next to Burbon street, but it was charming and reasonable. And for the price, not a complaint. I look forward to going back and staying there.

Great property within walking distance to lots of activities in the Quarter! Despite being so close to Bourbon, the hotel provided pretty quiet accommodations and the front desk staff, especially Will, were fantastic. This is my new place to stay in NOLA!

On my last day of my stay (6/13/24), I called an Uber to go to the airport with my grandfather and brother. It was 3:00 AM and VERY dark. Regardless, the woman at the check out counter waited with us outside until she was sure the Uber came for us. Being not from the state of New Orleans, this made me feel so safe. On another occasion, a different employee advised us on which tours to take. When I asked about the airboat ride, the woman at the counter said “I am telling you this because I care about our guests, but those tend to be dangerous and flipped over on a man once.” She then directed us to a safer swamp tour. I WISH I could remember these ladies’ names; they were so nice. At the Hotel Mazarin, it feels like the staff really cares about you!

The property is very close to Bourbon St, yet very quiet inside. Check-in was a breeze. During checkout however, the front desk woman clerk on Monday June 10 has a very rude demeanor when ask a question on where to wait for our car. She could have been a little bit more polite in dealing with hotel guests.
