I liked the space and condition inside, outside, entries abd walk ways were pretty shabby. There were screaming drunk or drugged get togethers both above us and on the next door property. A lot of the walls had dirty smudges, inside unit, however everything else seemed clean and tidy.

On first glance, the property looked fine. However, it was dirty and noisy. It’s a second floor unit with another property on the third floor; we could hear people in the upstairs and next door units clear into the middle of the night, and there was tremendous noise every time someone used the stairs. The front door had a sketchy lock, and there was a 1.5” gap between the floor and the bottom of the door. None of us slept well the three nights we were there.
The floor was so disgustingly dirty that it turned all of our feet and socks black to we ended up wearing shoes inside the unit. The furniture, especially couches/chair in the living room, are filthy and grossly in need of a steam cleaning and sanitizing.
The walls in several rooms and hallway were scuffed and dirty. One bedroom door had a hole in the door. There were random trim pieces covering other holes (like the baseboard trim piece run vertically up the corner in a bathroom.)
We had planned on cooking breakfast daily in the unit but opted not to due to insufficient cookware/supplies for our needs. Additionally, most of the dishes (plates and coffee cups) were covered in food residue so we had to wash the dishes before we used them.
Pros to the property: It’s close to public transit (street car and bus) and restaurants (there’s a cute and tasty cafe one block away called Cafe' Porche & Snowbar). The mattresses were relatively comfy (despite cheap bed frames that squeaked anytime you rolled over.)

The property is surrounded by abandoned buildings. I don't feel safe in that neighborhood. The inside of the property is old. The toaster is broken. Check-in and check-out are convenient. The condo is spacious.

Location was great. The area is in the middle of reconstruction and building so the outside appeal wasn’t a problem at all. Easy access no issues with the door codes. The apartment smelled of a strong piss odor once we opened the door. It almost made me throw up. The furniture in living was very Dingy and dirty for them to be dark colors you could still see the dark stains on them. The place looked clean at a quick glance but the tables had sticky residue on them, the towels in the bathroom had stains on them. We found a bed bug one night in the room on the bed and I was just disgusted. It honestly didn’t even look like they changed the sheets or washed the linen from the previous guest. Outside of that it was spacious and easily accessible to walk everywhere. The cleaning just wasn’t up to par and that should always be number 1.

The condo was not very clean when we arrived. I called to inform the owner about issues (smoke smell, broken couch, broken lamps, and incense in every electrical socket) within the property to make sure my group was not held accountable for things we did not do. The person who helped was kind, but nothing was done and no contact was ever made. Some of the sheets were stained and appeared unclean, the floor had dust bunnies so we had to sweep. We had to wash our own towels, ran out of toilet paper and had to go to the store and buy more. I received an email instructing us to take all trash out before leaving. The trash bins outside were filled beyond capacity and we were not given hardly any trash liners so we had to use walmart bags from our trip to the store. When we left the owner (manager) was waiting outside to make sure everyone checked out on time (or else you get charged for an additional day). It was an interesting experience. Probably will not book this place again.

The penthouse was beautiful! The porch was thee entire length of the building, and it has a secret bathroom on it to make it a total of a 3.5 bathroom! The building was dark grey with no surrounding buildings to block the sun so it got HOT and the A/C was set to a temp it couldn’t hold. Overall I am very pleased with the whole place and the esthetic was grand! Thank you for the stay!
