This place wasn't BAD, but I felt like there are other hotels for the same price that are way better. It didn't appear as nice as it was marketed online. The staff were friendly, and it is close enough to everything. But it seems more of an old building that has been updated, but you can still see a lot of wear and tear. I would stay here again, but I just think the price was too high when there are nicer hotels close by for the same price.

this hotel was perfect for me and my girlfriend for her birthday weekend. You are greeted by the valet As soon as you arrive once you make it to the front desk, you are greeted with another smile and ask if you are checking in we had no problems getting our keys and rooms were where the elevators were and it’s a beautiful site to take pictures as you are checking into the hotel

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Location was great - walking distance to French quarter, river walk and French market. Easy access to street car lines for Garden district and city park too.

The staff was excellent.
The room was just OKAY.
Somewhat dirty (floor, boxing and wrapping from a new lamp left in the room, mirrors were full of splatters.
Bathroom curtain was ripped and shower rod was broken.
Price was decent for the condition of the room.

Front dest staff great. House keeping non-existent. Below average hotel food. No microwave in the room. Clean lobby and nice art.

Beware the hidden ‘amenity fee’
Pros: nice quiet location that is walkable within 15-20 minutes to French Quarter and garden district. Good dining options in the area. Large room. friendly staff. Clean property away from the crowds.
Cons: $20 per day amenity fee for basically nothing. It was not mentioned anywhere in the reservation before check-in, and gave the illusion that our room was cheaper than competing hotels when it really wasn’t. Some of the so-called amenities include free coffee until 10.30 am which was empty most days, free glass of wine on arrival that we never received, free water filling station which is standard at most hotels these days, a ‘free’ beignet with purchase of a cocktail meaning the beignet isn’t really free, and access to board games (how is this worth $20??). For a six night stay we paid an additional $120. Also, they only provide house cleaning every three days. You have to stop at the desk every single day you want them to clean it and make a request for that day.
In the end, we were able to sleep, which is most important. Next visit we will probably try a different hotel.
