They smoked in the room not outside like the way the front desk explained when I complained about the smell. I guess that is why the smoke alarm was set off in the hall way on the 2nd floor having the fire department arrive on scene. If that's what you call smoking outside!"

"The Lafonda is a beautiful hotel right in the middle of downtown Santa Fe. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants. The plaza is right across the street where you can enjoy live music, an Indigenous peoples market and restaurants. It was the perfect location. "

"El Sendero was great. Based on the location, we thought it would be a little more "up-scale" but it is more of a motel style set-up, with entry from the room directly to the outside. However, the rooms are recently updated and very comfortable. The cost was great, and the location is unbelievably good, right in the heart of Santa Fe. I'm glad we found it and we enjoyed it!"
