It's a big scam to me.they won't answer when you call and also the address is nowhere to be found.they read your text in whatsapp but ignore. Scam scam scam

We apologize for the negative experience you had with our property. The non-existence of our address is obviously not true; the property is located on Kensington Road in New Kingston. There were reviews before we got accused of being scammers, and there will be reviews after we got accused of being scammers. We apologize that you could not find the address. You also seem to be from Brazil, and when dialing a number in Jamaica, you do not need to dial it as an international number. We did not receive any phone calls; our attempts to contact you went unanswered. We requested a refund from Expedia the moment we read this review. It's been quite some time; if you have not received a refund, please let us know. We definitely do not want to keep money for a guest that did not stay at our property.Apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused.

Close to carnival route

I will stick to the facts. Guest arrived at 4am to the property and expected to be checked in at no additional cost. I think it is common knowledge to most traveler that if you book for Jan 1st you are expected to arrive in the afternoon on Jan 1st and not 4am on Jan 1st. We could not meet that expectation without additional cost and the guest refused to book a prorated day. He came back at normal check in time and check-in there were slue of inspections and faults. We addressed 14 items for this guest including switching the bulbs from softwhite to daylight bulbs because it bothered his eyes. We are human and we all know what happens when some folks do not have their way. In retrospect we should have accepted the financial lost and please the guest by allowing him to check-in at 4am to avoid this negative review which my end up being more costly, lesson learned.
- AC is 21 months old (guest did not say we had none or it is not working. I am not sure what metric was used to judge the condition).
- The furniture was old and tired (again what metric was used to judge).
- Bathroom and shower (seem we score a pass mark)
- Breakfast (this is a self-catering apartment with a full kitchen. If the guest booked a promo with breakfast, we would make sure to honor it. This was not the case)

Nice comfortable space.

Pros: The location close to main road. Very quite , access to transport very good buses and taxis were available .The room very comfortable conditions .
Cons: the breakfast offer very questionable the ability to call 72 hrs ahead was and is not feasible for all respondents. the cleaning fee should be less.
Location: nothing to do close by . have to walk for about an hour to get to anything worthwhile .Once you have your own transport this spot is cool .
My stay was pleasant nice quiet environment . Once you like to walk a 15 min walk to the main is just cool . The neighborhood is safe , The grounds well kept beautiful garden . The pool needs to be updated was not enticing to me, was unable to enjoy the beautiful garden area no seating needed a bench .

Great apt for 1 or 2 in KIN for business, tourism
Posted 23 Jul 2017 on HotelsI just spent 3 weeks in Kingston on business (July 2017) and was very happy with how great the apartment was. It was comfortable (including the bed). The kitchen was well stocked with most utensils you would need for cooking. All appliances worked very well (although I did not use the coffee maker). Ample storage and I appreciated the extra towels and sheets on hand, since I stayed for 3 weeks. A/C works very efficiently. The wi-fi was good. TV with cable also appreciated. The apartment was very clean. There is a safe on the premises as well. It also has a really great view of the Blue Mountains, Long Mountain, some of New Kingston (north-facing view). Plus Mark was a great landlord/host: attentive, always responded to my texts right away, personable and friendly. Mark's mother checked me in when I arrived and was also very accomodating and friendly. The guys at the gatehouse (the on-site security) were just as friendly and helpful. The location in New Kingston is convenient to all tourist and business sites--10 min drive to downtown during rush hour, 10 min drive to UWI Mona campus, 5 min. drive to Bob Marley Museum, and 10 min walk to the heart of New Kingston (Knutsford Blvd). Conveniences right around the apartment (5 min walk) include at least one restaurant, gyms, an ATM machine, barber shop/nail salon. (Mark also left a list with directions to other conveniences and attractions.) I plan to return on business in 2018 and look forward to renting the same apartment then.

Your comment about the water pressure in the shower have lead us to turn up the pressure some more. It is our practice to use the main control valve to reduce the water pressure in the apartment amid fear the pressure will cause leaks. The pressure in the building is notoriously strong and will burst the pipes. We have turned it up to more acceptable levels. Thank you for voicing your concerns, it is appreciated.
