"Lovely place to stay. Room was large and very comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Check in was not so great. Arrived after 4pm and was told that our room was not ready yet. We had had a long day of driving and thought that as check in is 2pm that the room would be available. Was told that the hotel staff had had a big day but they should be able to get your room ready. Others also did not have their rooms ready either. Then was also told that they could see that we had ordered breakfast but that...

"Lovely stay at voco Kirkton Park! We stayed here for one night on a quick trip to the Hunter Valley, and wish we could stay longer. The hotel is gorgeous, with beautiful gardens and views, and kangaroos bouncing around the property. Very comfortable room and the breakfast is well worth it! Highly recommend and would stay again. "

"During our 5-day trip to Hunter Valley and Port Stephens, this hotel was by far the best choice we made. For our anniversary trip, the hotel staff upgraded us to the Hunter Suite and surprised us with a lovely bottle of local sparkling wine—such a thoughtful touch!
