The area was good , beside the hwy, can heard the traffic . The room smells so strong of chemicals smell . Bathroom sink all plugged . Nothing good to say about the place , if it wasn’t pre paid , I would not stay there .

I hve been staying here on n off for years. Stay booked. They have done alot of renovation. But when she told me if I wanna use microwave or coffee maker, I had to turn AC off, then I used shower and water kept leaking on bathroom floor. Lights for room, only one worked. Only smoking rooms now is if ur long term stay

We appreciate your feedback and have indeed accommodated you as a guest several times over the past 2 years. As for the AC/microwave combination, this has been the procedure in all rooms you have stayed in since the very first time you visited our property. The shower and lighting were inspected after your check out and all were in proper working condition. The shower was leaking on the floor due to guest error of leaving the curtain wide open and the water left turned on. As explained to you, all of our online regular nightly rooms are non smoking. You were offered a smoking room to which you declined being as it was an extended stay "type" of room and was much smaller than what you had booked. In the future if you would prefer the smaller smoking room, we will be more than happy to accommodate that request. Thank you for staying at Highland Inn New Cumberland.

Quick easy checkin, simple but clean room, and one of the best showers I've seen in a hotel. The building and room was dated but the value was unbeatable. A great choice for a road trip stop.

You get what you pay for. It’s cheap but it’s very run down and dated. The bed was rock hard and I have since developed a lot of lumps from bites. If your budget allows I would spend a little more for somewhere nicer.
