The staff was so kind and even though there was a language barrier they tried there hardest to make sure we were welcomed and to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was a bit small, but for one night we managed fine. The only easy feedback to owners would be to upgrade the pillows to something that is more than an inch thick, but overall we were happy and would stay there again, because they were over the top welcoming.

For the price there have to be better options. Though the hotel had safe storage for our bicycles, improvement is needed in many areas. Checkin was supposed to begin at 4pm. After waiting around for about 45 minutes the receptionist finally arrived with no apology or kindness. If we hadn’t already paid for the room, we would not have waited. The room was old and mostly clean, but not to par with most hotels. There was no toilet paper in the room upon checkin. WiFi only worked well in the lobby. Before we departed the next morning, the same receptionist tried to open our door with another key, but we thankfully had our key in the door so it wouldn’t work. All in all, our worst hotel stay of our 5 week trip so far.

We arrived and there was no one. We rang the bell so long. Then we called up. It was good we had a phone. We had 3 luggages & 1 is very heavy. We had to go up to the 3rd floor through a narrow stair flight. The room was clean. It was about 3-5 minutes walk to St. Bernadette’s Shrine. We had a long walk to find a grocery to buy water & stuff. You need to get taxi number in your return to the train station. If you have not much luggage just walk.

This place is local and close to everything; but do not expect from a two star hotel. The receptionist and her assistant was extremely helpful and accommodating; they made a huge difference.

Checking in was so easy. Madame Lysiane Martin at the front desk was so nice and very accommodating. And also kudos to the lady serving breakfast. 🙂 Sorry I forgot her name.
