"Staff was very helpful with our late check-in. We forgot that we would be needing a late check-in. They called us and gave instructions for where to find the key after hours. Room was pretty nice and breakfast was great. On-site parking was a plus. We had a nice stay."

"The hotel is outdated and needs investment to improve the stay. The proprietor was welcoming (she unfortunately had very little English and unfortunately our German was very poor too - which made communication more challenging). She got up early to see us off and was helpful when the bed broke as soon as I lay down on it. Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable, the single mattresses on the double bed leaned outwards from the centre resulting in a night of perpetual fear of rolling out...

"This hotel is located on the edge of the forest and we were awakened every morning by the delightful sound of songbirds. The room had a balcony which was a nice place to relax.. The restaurant is good and the breakfast buffet offered an assortment of cheeses, meats and breads. "I was a bit disappointed with the check in procedure - especially that I had to re-park my car. (while another car on a similar parking place remained...) The staff was not bad - friendly in the typical German manner. That was ok for me but my friends felt a bit mistreated. "

"Fantastic place. Not fancy, but clean, friendly and just a great stay! Restaurant closed Mondays, but a nearby restaurant "Klippe" took care of us:-) after dark, we had to figure out to use the side door with our key card, but got it to work. Breakfast was great, staff amazing. Ate at restaurant the next day and it was fabulous! Also- the 'conference room' area has an honorary system: take a snack, beer or wine and deposit some cash into a little piggy bank! Love it!!!!"
