"The hotel is literally in the center of town, and the facade and bar are charming. The churches and shopping nearby are lovely. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If you are there to see a football game, the stadium is an easy 20ish minute walk away, and you will be in good company walking with other fans. "The grounds and the main part of the hotel were excellent as were the staff. The only disappointment was the fridge in our room the motor of which kept kicking in on a regular basis. This meant that we couldn’t get a proper silent night as the noise of this was quite intrusive. Other than that, it was a good stay. "

"Suite was good size, but was very warm despite having windows being open (-3 outside) radiators weren’t on so just the general temperature of the room. Bed sank into the middle but was comfortable on the whole. Room decor was fine, if not a little tired could probably do with modernising. Minor blemishes around the room were noticeable, caps on taps missing, cracked plug sockets etc. On the whole good value, but certainly not pristine. Would stay again, but unlikely to pay more."
