The building itself was very cool. The furnishings need some thought and money put into them. The spaces could feel and be used so much better than they are so it's a bit disappointing. The amenities are not very clear. What is stated on the website was not mentioned or encouraged by the staff. We never did get the wifi to work. The staff was not rude, but not welcoming either. It's too bad because there is very little to do in the town below so the castle really should be an experience. The breakfast was very good. The dinner was just a bit above average, but not badly priced.

Exceeded expectations!
Posted 11 Aug 2019 on HotelsAmazing! Castle exceeded our expectations. My family and I enjoyed two wonderful nights at the castle. Spent one day exploring the castle and the nearby village and the next day we went to Rome. Also, I had forgot my bag with passports and called the reception and they quickly found the bag with all contents intact. I am beyond grateful for the caring staff.
