We loved staying at Kokanee Glacier resort - Meimei was so accommodating and kind, the suite we stayed in was spacious and clean, and we booked a pet friendly room which made it easy to bring our dog. The property was great to walk our dog around. We have family on both sides of the bridge (right in Nelson and in the Balfour area), therefore this resort was the perfect midway point between the two. We will definitely be back and will happily be recommending this resort to others!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Clean, renovated room, outstanding view, and great rates. Meimei is very sweet, accommodating, and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend Kokanee Glacier Resort!

Posted 21 Aug 2024 on HotelsIts a quiet clean area. They are clearly upgrading the property which didnt have an affect on our stay. We got a newly renovated room with a living/kitchen area. The staff were very accommodating and checked in with us to make sure all was good often. The little restaurant had amazing food too. It certainly doesnt feel like you are close to the highway either. We will definitely come back if we are in this area again.

Accommodation was good. Clean room and recently renovated. Beyond that, nothing special. Probably over-priced for the type of motel. Not a 'resort'.

Absolutely amazing. Would not want to stay anywhere else while in Nelson. The owners are wonderful as is the food at their restaurant. The view from the hotel can not be beat. I’d give them 10 stars if I could .
