We loved everything about our weekend away at Bali in the Bay! The whole apartment was spotless when we arrived. There was yummy wine and beer on arrival and we couldn't stop admiring all the small, intricate details in the woodwork and furnishings. The Joglo room is an exceptional addition to an already exceptional property. You must explore the room at night time with no lights on, you'll get a wonderful surprise. We're already booking our return visit. Can't wait to go back. Thank you Grant & Jenni for a weekend we won't forget.

Great experience at bali in the bay

Nicely away from main town, and close to beach

Pros: Authentic Bali style apartment... Very clam and inviting and private.
Clean and well maintained
Cons: Maybe an extra packet of muesli for consecutive nights stay as I thought it was including every morning. I only read the fine print after we left.
Location: Secure, private, quiet yet still local to all shops at Nelsons Bay, and Shoal Bay. Lovely walk to the beach and Nice to have Anzac Park opposite.
Secluded enough away from the hustle bustle of town, but close enough to walk or ride to all the activity valuable in Shoal bay.
Lots of various bits of info including things to see and do available for Port Stephens and surrounds.
Kitchen well supplied with cooking facilities if required and adequate coffee and amenities.
Loved the Champagne and bintang in the fridge and muesli for the first morning!

Balinese themed apartment- great location.

The owners go the extra mile to ensure their guests comfort including complimentary drinks in the fridge and breakfast items provided.
Unfortunately, we did not have great weather whilst we were there and found it a bit dark, but this may be a positive if the sun is blazing outside! Also, as a family of 4 we would have appreciated a little more surface storage for our personal items in Bathroom and Bedrooms.
Would highly recommend.

10 year Anniversary Getaway
Posted 12 Mar 2017 on WotifWe absolutely loved our stay at "Bali at the Bay". The Nirwana apartment was immaculate and the perfect choice for a romantic stay. Loved all the small details from the incense, to the bath robes, candles and the Balinese decorations. Jenni the host was so welcoming at check in. Would highly recommend to all. We will definitely be back!

Pros: Was clean, decorated in 'Bali' style - very well done.
Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable.
Spa bath very nice indeed
Loved the verandahs & day bed
Cons: Maybe internet access, unless I missed it, but then I didn't really need it either!
Location: 2 mins walk to the beach, we took the recommended snorkel tour with Imagine - was a great afternoon.
Just a wonderful location
This is a beautifuly presented 2 br apartment in a great location. 2 min walk to the beach, cool inside on a 40 degree C day!! Bed was great, pod coffee, a bottle of champagne on arrival. We'd certainly return!!
Also tried the hot n cold seafood platter from one of their recommended restaurants - would feed 4 and was superb!
