My stay was totally messed up from the beginning due to American Airlines fouling up everything they touched. Arrived a day and a half late and Mr. Gomaz and his staff rearranged pick up from airport three times by the time things were done.
The persistence of his staff in talking to mishandled bags at Qatar (who saved the day) is largely due to the persistence I believe of Mr Gomez and his staff. I can't say enough about the efficiency, the caring and the attitude of both Mr Gomez and his staff. That's what you call a personal touch and believe me, that's a rare thing. You can't go wrong by staying here.
I sure hope I can come back to Sri Lanka and if all the planets align and things work out, that will be the first place I go and stay. They offered to arrange tours and everything with the driver but I had a tour booked and so I had to turn down their generous offer.
I love breakfast with fresh fruit when I don't have to shop for it, cut it and prepare it.
Top notch all around.
This is definitely not a mega resort cookie cutter hotel, but if you want personal attention and genuine smiles, you can't go wrong here at all.
