It was during the Packers family night weekend and it was obvious that they needed more people assisting while breakfast time. The only person there was overwhelmed.

First of all at check in the girl was confirming my credit card number even though I booked through Expedia and of course it was different. Got that squared away and then gave her my debit card for the deposit for room damages and since it wasn't a credit card she wanted $50 cash instead. I had to call my girlfriend in and use her credit card for the deposit. I'm not sure what the deal was but I don't have a credit card and have stayed at many hotels via Expedia and my debit card without incident. The attached restaurant was very nice but very expensive. We ordered a burger, truffle fries and risotto and they were all delicious. We also had a few glasses of wine and a couple cocktails and they were great. Our server was absolutely fantastic. The continental breakfast was also very good. Our overall experience was good, but that foolishness at check in as well as the high priced restaurant and the distance to other reasonably priced eating/drinking establishments will probably keep us from staying again.

Hello, I am so sorry for the inconvenience at the front desk during check in. I have been working with the team to make sure they have an understanding of the incidental hold. I understand when booking on a third party we may have already paid for the room, but we also need a card on file for incidental purposes. There should have never been a cash option and I apologize that they asked. I do appreciate your feedback so we can perfect our team to do even better for next time!
