"We visited Lakshmi during July which is in the middle of the local dry season. It was extremely hot at times but also variable so be prepared for changing weather patterns. Our booking was all inclusive including the initial taxi from Iquitos and subsequent boat ride to the lodge. Our guide, Adderly, was very knowledgeable about the local ecosystems and took us to a number of different locations around the reserve.
