This home is historic with lots of stories, which the hostess shares freely and knowledgeable of past events. There is also a ghost tour where photography is encouraged to see if any past residents show up in the photos. Very entertaining and enjoyable.

Staff is friendly, breakfasts were delicious and authentically Southern, prepared by the owner. Bed was comfortable, but no comfortable seating or table. Lampshade looked as if it had been run over. Dresser drawers were full of linens, as was armoire, so no place to store our clothes. We had to share our bathroom the evening of our arrival with a group of about 35 attending a garden party. Inconvenient and unsanitary. Bathroom floor needed cleaning. Charming Owner gave us a tour of the home, full of antiques belonging to her family . She does ghost tours as well, but we did not participate. Impressive that the property is still owned by the same family for generations. Needs some TLC.

Charming "faded glory" feel. Audrey, the 90 y.o. matriarch is charming and full of great stories of the past. Her daughter was a very thoughtful host. Good breakfast. The place is not "The Ritz" but a pleasant experience.

If you are looking for a true piece of history and authentic southern hospitality, this is your spot! Margorie and Valerie were so kind and accommodating! The home is a true lived-in home that hosts 200 years of amazing history! It was an honor to have them share their home and life stories with us! The mystery dinner was great and so much fun! Visiting with Ms. Marjorie during a wonderful breakfast was enchanting! Truly a unique experience that will be a long-held memory for us! Thank you Glenfield House for sharing your history with us!

Pretty run down property in need of maintenance and repairs if measured by usual b & b standards. If you are anything besides southern, white American, you might want to avoid this “southern hospitality” as the eccentricities and biases are right out in the open.

We enjoyed our two-night stay very much! The free breakfasts were wonderful. Be home in beds work very comfortable as well, and the staff was very attentive and very sweet. I will return there for another stay hopefully this summer.

Enjoyed our stay at this historic bed and breakfast in Natchez. It was conveniently located. The owners were very sweet with interesting stories about the plantation.

Interesting but rundown

It was an interesting place. However, it needs a thorough cleaning from top to bottom. The ghost tour was the highlight of the evening.
