Missed a flight. And all hell broke loose. Was unable to get a refund with a 2hr booking. Couldn’t check in the next day because I missed my flight a day before “ no show” they called it. I would have slept on the street and they wouldn’t care even though I paid and they could obviously see my bookings

The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The small restaurant was slow but food was good and reasonably priced. The location across the street from Junkanoo beach was not good. The main road was difficult to cross to access beach. The public beach was noisy and crowded. Lots of partying, but unappealing to us as retirees. The constant loud rap music was annoying.

This was a great hotel for an overnight stopover but I dont think i would spend a week due to its location. The hotel was great, opposite a beach, has a nice pool, super friendly and attentive staff, updated room with comfy bed, cool AC, safe, grudge, large Tv and nice bathroom, the surrounding neighdorhood had very few shops open after 5pm and many others permanently closed giving it an abandoned feeling.

Very good food at the Bistro. Daily maid service kept the room in nice shape. The temperature in public areas of the hotel was a little too cold for me. Pool was kept in nice shape but it was cold. Occassionally the room had a sulfur smell that seemed to be coming from the HVAC unit. The conceirge, Clyde, was excellent.

The room smelled like cigarettes and mildew and was filthy. The floor were so dirty my socks were black after an hour. The smell made me sick so my husband asked for them to change our room so they did which it didn’t smell but was still not very clean. Hair and sand on floors. We would never stay again & although the staff was so attentive they can’t do much without proper management and repairs. The area is loud which is expected but not a place we would ever stay again.
