Great place!

We were there as a family for a memorial service. The peoperty was besutiful, quiet and the staff was helpful, kind and very friendly. We would definitely stay again.

The atmosphere was amazing my wife loved it will definitely be booking again. The only thing we didn’t favor too much was the minor noise that the air conditioner was making whilst running

I disliked the fact that my check in was for 3p.m and when I came to checkin they spoke to me through a camera door bell not even the front desk, and told me to they would call me when my room was available. I came back a little over an hour and the room had just started to be cleaned. There was no one on the grounds incase i needed anything. And checking out i rang the door bell and someone spoke to me through a window from the top floor. The experience was terrible and I wouldnt recomend the stay to anyone

Good day, it concerns us that you did not have a good stay with us at Brownstone as we are in the business of ensuring that our guests enjoy their stay. In addressing your check in process, none of our guesthouse properties have a front desk/lobby area as we operate many properties through out New Providence from a head office that is not on that property. In regards to your late check in, we accept full responsibility as we did our best in dealing with the previous guests to check out of the room. They did not check out in time though they were repeatedly instructed to. The owner lives on property and the door bell is normally used by our guests for anything that our guests need assistance with. We do appreciate your review and concerns and note that we are analyzing ways to ensure that what you may have experienced does not happen again. All the best this New Year!

Pros: What I liked could not match the isolation I felt there.
Cons: Put in a phone.
Location: In a suburban area. Nothing to do nearby. Needed transportation to do anything and without a phone or car that was not possible.
No phone available. Nothing within walking distance to get food from a grocery store or restaurant. Without a phone I was unable to call a cab to go anywhere. I felt abandoned and stranded.
