"We love Candeo but this was our first time staying at one in Osaka. It did not disappoint. The staff were kind and the facilities were as beautiful as always. I love the roof top spa and breakfast was good too. "

"Wonderful traditional Japanese hotel (ryokan) with hot bath downstairs. We saw so many beautiful Sakura trees on our trip but the most amazing Sakura was right outside of this hotel. Just jaw dropping! Really enjoyed our walks down the stone stairs to the small city, beautiful views and beautiful place. We even liked it more than Kyoto, so quite and authentic :) will be back!"

"Located next to subway station, with convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, the staffs are nice, especially when dealing with customers who speak Japanese. The staffs don't speak English and can sometimes com across as cold when dealing with foreign customers. The hotel is clean. Don't use the washing machine here, it can only handle a few small pieces of clothes, anything more than that can turn into a disaster. "

"The hotel is very new and extremely clean. While typical of Japanese room sizes (smallish), they were impeccably clean, well appointed with daily towel replacement and free breakfast. From a tourist perspective, it's a little out of the way from downtown Osaka and only one of the express train lines reaches the nearby station (which is thankfully close and near lots of amenities). "Great place, never disappoint. The buffet brekky was one of the best we've had in this trip. Staff are very helpful especially the one in Reception. The lady took her time telling us how to get to Nara Park with just one transfer. Even with Google maps, it helps that staff are able to give us more options. So the best tip us, when in doubt, ask help from your hotel staff as they are willing to assist in any way they can. We have been to Japan 7 times and we always have enjoyed our stay. Each visit us different, yet one thing is certain, the Japanese will always be there to help. Just ask nicely, it makes a big difference. APA amenities are also better than most hotels we stayed in, they are the only ones so far that gave shower caps and lots of bins in the room for all types of rubbish, plus several paper cups for our cold and hot drinks. Our room might be smaller than the other ones we stayed in but it made up for the great amenities suited to our needs. Arigato gosaymas APA and staff!"

Leans into the gimmick, but really enjoyable!

"I’ve wanted to experience a capsule hotel since I first heard about them when I was in middle school, so when I booked my first trip to Japan I made sure to find one. This capsule hotel is admittedly a little touristy and leans into the gimmick more than being an authentic experience—I mean let’s face it: the name is Ninja and Geisha, the two Japanese words that any tourist knows. That being said, it still was a great experience! It was so clean and comfortable and very easy to check in. The location is very conveniently by the train station making it ideal for a quick overnight stay while traveling. The check in and lounge area has a very cheesy, almost Disney-esque, level of theming, but ya know what? I love it. It was very well done. They are also very accommodating; when I made my booking I requested either a blue or red pod and they responded immediately that it would be guaranteed for me. And sure enough, it was! If you have difficulty climbing, I’d recommend asking for a lower pod because the little metal ladder on the side is pretty difficult to swing yourself over if you’re not too nimble."
