It has a nice location in Shivpuri. Staff was very helpful and food was average.

Our 2 nights stay at Bull's Retreat was comfortable. The best part of this resort is the good food and excellent service by the staff. There are many activities within and around the resort which keep kids engaged. The entire staff were very cooperative and ever willing to make our stay comfortable. Kudos to the management for having a well trained staff, which made our stay a memorable one.
The only negative point was the dust coming from the nearby road construction, which was a put off for us. Hopefully, this is only temporary and should get resolved once the road construction is completed.
Overall, a good and memorable stay!!

Not at all as expected

Pros: The hotel huts were okay, bonfire was nice, and food was okay
Cons: We stayed for 3 days and did not have any hot water, after asking the staff repeatedly to turn it on. They never did.
One of the activities they advertise was a trip Ganga Aarti, followed by a bonfire at the hotel. We asked for the round trip service to Rishikesh and they suggested hitchhiking. What they did not warn us about was that there are no tourist buses or taxis that run from Rishikesh back to Shivpuri after dark, which is when Ganga Aarti ends. We eventually found two police officers who told us this and were genuinely shocked that we were left in Rishikesh, and called a 4x4 vehicle to drive us back.
Location: Rishikesh and Shivpuri are amazing places to visit. Just stay somewhere else.
