We reserved the Hollywood twin which was SUPPOSED to be for two. We had to side-step to get to the bottom of the bed. Then sidestep and maneuver at the end of bed to get to the bathroom. The 3 foot ‘aisle’ between the end of the bed and counter that you had to pass to get to the bathroom also included 2 chairs and a small table. Very very small. Beware, if you ask to be placed on a lower floor you may get a view of a cement building approx. 6-8’ away. Just be aware space will be very tight! We are both < 76 years so it was disappointing cuz NOT what we expected given the photos we saw online! Other than that very clean.

They were kind enough to allow us to check in before the check in time. The rooms were a great value, comfortable and clean, and the inhouse onsen was a remedy for a body weary from planes and trains.

This is the most favorable hotel in my 8-day tour in Japan. Strongly recommended!!! My only regret is I only booked one night there. They provide great and clean natural spring spa and sauna. After the spa, they provide free ice cream bar or sour milk. They also provide free noodle and drink in the night. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The location is just next to the Nara station. You can store your luggage there before you check in or after you have checked out. It is about 1 mile from Nara park and I walked to there. It is very convenient.

Absolutely amazing stay in an amazing location. Staff was friendly and helpful, baths were clean and clear enough even this foreigner could manage without embarrassing himself too much. And Wi-Fi was strong and reliable. The free ramen at night was the perfect way to end a long day of exploring and laughing at tourists get chased by deer. 10/10, will stay here again.
