Got the job done, but disappointed.

Posted 23 Jul 2017
Pros: Not much. Room was acceptably clean.
Cons: More clear instructions on breakfast ahead of time. Clearly explain there is no free self parking besides street parking.
Location: Terrible location. The room itself is secured behind 4 doors but this isn't a safe neighborhood. I'd stay outside this area in my next visit to Naples
I booked this property strictly on location and okay reviews. We were looking to explore Napoli on foot and eat the original Margherita pizza at Da Michele, but neither of those happened and we left quite upset. The only positive to the stay was a staff member named Francesco who was helpful in explaining what we needed to do. Right away, we found out check-in ends at 16:00 and that Francesco would leave our keys with the Pizzeria across the street. We were arriving at 20:00. We thought there was parking onsite, but there wasn't, and we had to park 15 minutes away at a secure garage that cost me 35 Euro. The garage attendant told us to be careful walking back to the hotel as it was not a safe area. Scary. Nearing the hotel, we turned onto the street and people were eyeing us and our bags up. Luckily the pizzeria owner was outside, recognized us and immediately came running to escort us inside his building and gave us the keys. The room was acceptable, no frills. Breakfast was confusing. It wasn't at the "hotel" but rather across the street at Bar Zambardino. There were no signs telling us this, no warning ahead of time, and it wasn't until I texted Francesco in the morning did we find out were breakfast was. At the cafe, if it weren't for another hotel guest who spoke Italian explaining to the barista, we probably would not have had any breakfast (2 croissants and 2 espressos). Francesco said he'd be in at 8:30 but he never showed so we didn't get to meet him.

Average Value for money.

Staff were extremely helpful. Only a couple of English speaking tv channels. Internet coverage very weak. Very noisy at times but right in the centre of the city so that's to be expected. 5 mins walk to Metro. Convenience store, restaurant & tobacco shop right outside. Did not have 24hour reception. Therefore, difficult to get assistance.

Pros: Location near metro, restaurant, museum, supermarket

Very good if you travel with family and don't need very much comfort. It is difficult to park nearby.

Nice hotel for the area

Nice hotel for the area. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Only issues were with that their water tank was very small and I took several cold showers, and the breakfast only consisted of a croissant and jam.

So easy

Pros: Prepared breakfast baskets with juice and coffee made for a very relaxed stay. Check in was simple and very friendly.
Location: Location felt safe and was close to tourist streets.
Room layout was great for a family of 4 with plenty of storage space.

Great room, good location, showers need some work

The room was nice and bright. BeHouse is one floor up and although there is an elevator, it costs EUR 10 for a ride! Not sure if there was a temporary flaw or it is intentional, but we could not press the first floor button so had to walk up anyway. Breakfast served in a basket on the floor outside your room which consists of croissants and jams/Nutella. The main downside about the place was the shower head in our bathroom, it seemed as though the wrong head was put on it so it sprayed out in all different directions and was near impossible to get a consistent amount of water out of it! Made for a mess in the bathroom. Other than that the room was great, staff was really friendly (although spoke very little English) and we were very close to the most written about pizzerias!

Friendly and helpful staff. Safe and quiet area in Naples. Grocery store 50 feet from property, shopping, and banking in extremely close proximity

OK hotel but overpriced

Posted 13 Jul 2014
Hotel was very secure and in a great location in central Naples. However, room was basic with only one tiny window and had not been cleaned properly for a while. Plug hole in the shower didn't drain properly, so couldn't shower for longer than 2-3 minutes without either stopping or letting he bathroom flood! The staff were friendly and breakfast OK. Would stay here again as a stop over if room was cheaper.
