Where to start... Once arrived at our destination, there was an envelope left at a desk with no staff on site. In the envelope we were given a paper stating we were changed to another location due to damage that previous tenants left. We had to pay another 17 euros to get to our new given location. Once at our destination Piazza Cavour 122, there was no wifi (as the owner said it was not working due to the provider) for all 3 nights. Our first 2 nights there was no hot water and after several complaints to Expedia and the owner we finaly got hot water on our 3rd night. The tv did not work for our first two nights either. The kettle to heat our water was filthy to make our coffee, so we did not use it. The noise in the building was terrible as it carried everywhere. We heard children crying and dogs barking all night. We asked to get a refund on the second night as we wanted to find another place to stay and the owner refused to do so and got upset with Expedia when they asked as well, as the accomodation were not as discribed. She mentionned to Expedia that she uograded us rooms and that she did not need to refund us, but the chnge was not made or asked on our end. There is no staff onsite, all communication is done through Whats App. This was a horrible place to stay as it was not in a great part of the city of Naples.

Hotel is hidden on a dirty street.
There was no reception to greet us, nor to check out…staff no -existent.
Hot water heater leaked - making a wet mess on bathroom floor. Shower configuration was not good, turn on shower if door is not fully closed the water starts spraying out into bathroom.

The room provided was inconveniently small. Poorly constructed. No windows, no room to move around or to place luggage. Parking was not available. the closest parking was 40 euros per night. The toilet ran all night which did not allow us to get any sleep.

gentile ospite su expedia vi e' una dettagliata descrizione della camera e vi è specificato che e'piccola e senza finestra altrimenti non si spiegherebbe il prezzo cosi basso.per quanto concerne il parcheggio noi non ne disponiamo e non possiamo farcene una colpa se in zona sono cari non vengono gestiti da noi. se ci avesse avvisato del problema in bagno saremmo venuti a sistemare

Even though there was a message to inform the owner in advance of arrival time I never received an answer. It was easy to enter. The welcome letter was pretty confusing, in English, even though I messaged the owner in Italian in advance. It mentioned services we did not have included, like breakfast and I would have never reached out to ask for it if it was not mentioned in the welcome letter, please remove info that does not concern all your guests, especially when you are called B&B. Tight stairs going up the room, you can barely squeeze if you have a luggage and not just a backpack. Room was very small, walls were dirty, no windows and this should be specified on the site. Communication with the owner was minimal and unpleasant, no hello’s, no thank you, no initiated communication. We stayed additional 3 nights in Naples in a similar property with a similar price, the service was stellar in comparison.
I didn’t see value for the money I paid with this property.

There was a problem with the room that I actually booked so the owner offered me a room in a different location. I accepted and thought the location wasn’t the one I had in mind the place and the room were amazing!! We enjoyed our stayed a lot at the maison du la metro. The place was impeccable, the room had a private bathroom with hot water, the room had air conditioning and the bed was so comfortable. We would definitely come back here.

The room was good, I haven’t spoken to any person only by intercom when I arrived, the place was clean, I have three critics, not easy to find, pillows were terrible and the room have a nice window on the entrance door but it leaked all the light from the hallway when other guests arrive to their rooms, besides that it’s what you expect for the price

Perfect for 2 nights but not a B&B
Posted 11 Jun 2023 on HotelsThis isn’t a B&B - no breakfast provided and she changed the address of our booking which made us walk back to the train station and go to another destination. Location in new destination was good though in the end.
