This hotel was literally steps away from the shinkansen/subway station, which was a huge reason why I chose this hotel since we were here for days trips and a visit to the Toyota Automobile Museum. This is a nice budget hotel with standard size Japanese hotel rooms. The staff was very nice and helped us with our luggage transfers. I had a very nice stay at this hotel!

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our time in Nagoya. The hotel was located across the street of the JR station, which made it super convenient to get to. Lots of places for snacks and food in the area as well as a good walking distance to the "downtown" areas of Nagoya.
The staff were super helpful with check-in and check-out and I enjoyed the welcome gift! Hotel amenities were great! I liked that they had different types of toothbrushes, pillows and teas.
Overall, the room is your standard "small" but for the price and location, I would recommend and stay here again.

Simple, no frills hotel in a great location.
The location is great. Just beside the Nagoya train, subway, bus interchange. You can go down the stairs to the underground shipping center, ESCA, and then to the interchange. Just note this is at the Shinkansen end, most of the subway platforms are on the other end. But still a great location.
The room is small as expected of Japan cities. Generally clean, again as expected. The bed is a bit soft, and even with the selection of pillows, we were not able to get comfortable.
Biggest problem is that there is a very faint cigarette smell in the room. We couldn't determine if it was the bedding, pillows, room or air-conditioning. Very faint, comes and goes.

It is a small hotel with small rooms but for the price, it is good enough. There is an entrance (E3)to the underground restaurant malls (Esca) very close to the hotel.
The first room I got smelled tobacco but with my request the hotel gave me another room, which saved me as I have an allergy.

It is really conveniently located when you get off the Shinkansen, so we could just takenluggage straight there. Rooms were more tight than most of these tyoes of hotels in Japan. Breakfast was just a special menu at Yoshinoya next door. It is not fancy in any way, but location was great.
