I would not stay here. It is not hotel but an apartment complex in a bad neighborhood. I called Expedia and tried to get my money back for false advertising to no avail. I will no longer use Expedia. When we pulled up in our taxi, there was family underwear hanging in balconies all over the building. We walked up to the " reception room " and flies were all over the spoiled fruit on the desk. I could just imagine the free breakfast offered . The room sucked. The " nice double bed " was almost cot size. I complained that it was not a hotel and that I wanted a refun. " we do not refund discover card nor Expedia customers". My wife and I left and paid the $250 at the Eka hotel for the night.

When I was picked up the driver was very friendly and drove carefully to the hotel. I was amazed at the size of the accommodation with 3 bedrooms to choose from. There were 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets. I had a queen sized bed and plenty of cupboard space. The electric fan kept the rooms cool. The lounge was spacious and I was able to entertain my 2 guests who came to visit and the staff made a delicious caesar salad and toasted sandwiches with flasks of tea and hot chocolate. An early morning breakfast provided at 5.15am in time to be transferred back to the airport. The traffic was very heavy and the driver did very well to get myself and 2 other guests to the airport well on time. The showers were only lukewarm and needed attention from maintenance but the showers were very clean. There was a good mosquito net which fitted over the whole bed. The staff were very presentable and very helpful with all my requests. The Television was not able to work and needed to be tuned in but the wifi was working very well. The road from the outside entrance to the hotel was very bumpy and dusty which can only be tarred by the government. The hotel owner has surfaced the hotel road but there needs to be a better signage for visitors as it is not easy to find. The security is very good and I felt safe with 24 hour reception

One of my worst stays after visiting more than 40 countries. Late night pick-up from airport - for a single woman traveling alone, driver not there. Room: no toilet paper, no pillow cases, part of the mosquito net missing. No greeting from receptionist when I arrived. She just talked to the shuttle driver until I asked her if she were the receptionist.
Driver late the next morning to take me back to the airport. Left by the receptionist, as she locked the door from the inside, to stand outside in the pre-dawn to wait for the late shuttle driver. Then, when he picked me up late, told we had to go to another hotel and pick up 2 more travelers. A sense of "customer service" and time constraints for travelers flying: not existing there in my experience. I had read in earlier reviews that there were problems here, but naively thought they would have been addressed and corrected. I have never written a negative review before, but I simply cannot recommend this place.

Dette hotellet er en flopp. Ligger langt unna flyplassen. Transporten er dårlig. Rommet var en leilighet i 5 etasje uten heis. Ingenting ! fungerte.

Gave advance notice of arrival time and gave flight details. Unfortunately had to wait about an hour for the free shuttle after having called the hotel. Apart from that everything was decent. Room was ok. Breakfast was ok. Location was okay for the airport but far from city centre.

This is a new hotel in a new apt. complex close to the airport. It has no sign, but the taxi driver knew where it was. The hotel said they would provide a free shuttle, but none showed up. However, they were nice enough to have breakfast for me in my room at 5 AM, so that I could get a very early taxi ride into the city.

This hotel is down a dark rough road that is not lite, I thought the driver was possibly taking us to get mugged. But not. The TV was hard to use and not many good channels for someone from the USA. No safe. No soap. One towel three people. No shampoo. Got omelette brought to my room, that was nice. No electricity come morning, which meas no hot water to shower, had to go to office to have them turn it back on. I would not stay here again. No safe box.

I booked a room at the last mijite, but feel glad that I made the choice.
For the complimentary airport pickup, the guest is supposed to contact the hotel beforehand so that the pickup is right on time. The driver works 24/7 on request and is a very pleasant young man called Ben who, once told of the arrangement, surely delivers on the work.
The building is in a very dark apartment complex next factories near the airport, but is literally the only accommodation facility close to the airport. The place maybe rather difficult to be found by randomly assigned cab drivers at the airport.
The facilities are great - spacious, clean, and comfortable. I wished the water heatin facility had worked fine.
Hearty breakfast is complimentary.
For other travellers who may be expecting the pickup at the airport, do confirm the online reservation with the hotel by a phone call. I only did this once I arrived at the airport, so had to wait for about twenty minutes before the pickup happened. During the wait in the car pool, so many taxi drivers at the airport approached me, running a negative campaign of the hotel for want of a customer, saying that the guest for this hotel is usually left waiting at the airport. If the guest herself himself is well-planned and arranged, the stay and complimentary service would just be provided without regrets and grudges.

This is not a hotel
Somebody is using their own apartment and rent rooms to you as hotel
It is an apartment complex. They were supposed to pick us up from the airport and never showed up. I had to ask for a local to call them and then they came. We were given a room on the 5th floor and we have to lug our suitcases up the floors. The rooms are clean.
I would not recommend this hotel. Find an actual hotel.

The hotel however, is seriously “interesting” . It’s not really a hotel. It’s a series of abandoned high-rise apartment buildings. Looks like they ran out of money bid way through the project. It’s about a 4 minute drive off the highway on a red dirt road, with mud and huge holes. Seems to be near a factory and outside of the front are some slums that I can see this morning. The “front desk” is a lady sitting in an apartment downstairs. She asked me if I just preferred to share her apartment for the night. I told her, that’s ok, I booked a two bedroom and she said., ok, I will take you upstairs. I am at the top floor, no elevator! Got inside the apartment. Phone, cable, and internet are all “broken”. Only cold water, which was fun for my 2 AM bath… burrrrrr. Two “showers” Turned on one, and through the gaping hole it the wall, I saw the pipe was broken inside of the wall and gushing water everyone. Not that one! So I went to the other. On the one, the shower head didn’t work at all, but there was a “standpipe” style part where I could get cold water flowing. Hahaha. Was “refreshing” after 18 hours of travel. Then the bed- Was apparent the sheets had not been changed. There was dirt/ sand on the inside of the bed. I folded it back up, took the two towels that I find in the apartment, put them on top of the bed and laid on those. Used my jacket as my blanket.

The Nairobi Airport Hotel did not conform to my expectations of a basic hotel even in a country such as Kenya. There is no signage directing travellers to the establishment or outside the building indicating that it is a hotel and my taxi driver had to ask around several times to find the place. The establishment is situated in a residential housing unit within a construction zone, surrounded by unfinished buildings. There was no security wall, gate, or razor wire, and due to its location and surroundings it felt unsafe even in the middle of the day. I saw no uniformed staff or reception area at the ground level and immediately left.

Your transfer won't arrive, and the facility is much further than advertised. It is NOT a hotel. Its a few two bed roomed apartments in an unfinished residential tower block area so it feels like you are being abducted when you you are taken there. The staff don't care about anything, will try and make you share a room with a stranger, and your room will likely have staff living in it already. The rooms are not clean. The water doesn't work, the wireless doesn't work. I have worked in the travel industry for 20 years and traveled in 54 countries. I have never been anywhere that the experience is so far from the expectation. Backpackers hostels provide facilities far in advance of what this 'hotel' does. DO NOT BOOK.

Our one night stay at the Nairobi Airport Hotel started off poorly. Despite email confirmation (a personal email note), received the day prior to our arrival of a pickup at the airport, we were not picked up. The hotel staff, although friendly could not explain why we were not picked up.
The room was comfortable enough, although one of our two bathrooms was filthy.
There was no Wi-Fi as advertised, not temporarily unavailable, just not available.
The staff helped us arrange a shuttle to Arusha the following morning.
Overall, very disappointed in our stay.

Near the NBO airport was good for flight the next day. The free airport pick-up and drop-off shuttle was very convenient. Shuttle driver (John) was very helpful, providing transport to see relatives and to go out to eat (for a price). Mercy, at the front desk/reception was very friendly and helpful. Two separate bedrooms and baths were great for privacy and going at my own pace in the morning.
Mosquito nets were provided; breakfast was good; couldn't figure out the hot water although I'm pretty sure it was available.
