After the safari I showered and rested until my late night flight. Room is not nice shape but ok because it is old building but it was clean, has comfortable bed and clean sheets. Location is very good and not dangerous. I could walking around alone without any worries. As a budget hotel I am very satisfied with Hotel Embassy. Especially the staffs were the most kind and friendly people I’ve ever met in Africa.

This is not a 5 stars hotel but it is clean, located centrally, with friendly staff. Good ratio quality/price.

Hotel OK, dangerous shower
Posted 12 Dec 2023 on HotelsThe hotel is basic. The room and bathroom were surprisingly clean, including the mattress and bedsheets. However, the overall impression was marred by stains on the walls and bed base, pipes and cables exposed. Only one towel was provided, and there was no soap in the room. The noise from the street and the corridor was loud. Like other reviewers, during my shower I encountered a concerning issue – the water heater in the shower head started sparking very brightly. I know little about electricity, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's life-threatening. I only stayed for 3 hours to wash and rest before the flight, so it served its purpose. We survived the shower.
