Convenient location but hotel is run down with unacceptable
Health and safety standards.
Management did not seem concerned when complaints made.
Payment was taken twice and refunded in Kenyan shillings with loss in exchange rate differences and transaction commissions
Would not recommend it

Not a safe place

Pros: nothing
Cons: Smoke detectors and fire alarms. Staff friendliness. Customer services. Breakfast (very indian).
I stayed int this hotel for a week and did not have a good time. Firstly, for the entire time the pool and court yard area was closed, which was disappointing. Staff was unfriendly, and not helpful and my request for a bin or a hot shower was initially ignored (solved on day 3). I was put into a room on 2nd floor, but within 2 days of my arrival my floor turned into a building site, as all rooms had their doors replaced. On day 3 staff moved me to the 4th floor (not happy to pack up again). However, within 20min of moving into my new (not very clean) room the overpowering smell and firework-like noises from the corridor led me to investigate: the large electric fuse box just in front of my room was exploding with large flames coming out of it and licking up the wall. With no smoke detector or fire alarm in place I run down 4 floors an alerted staff, who then put out the fire and I moved, rather shaken, back into my 2nd floor room. Without me detecting the fire this could have ended really badly (it was past midnight and nobody else was on the 4th floor, so a fire would not have been detected any time soon). I had a sleepless night and was rather disappointed that nobody actually thanked me or offered some sort of compensation for the bad experience (smoke smelling clothes, sleepless nights, no fire alarm). Instead, staff tried to move me back to the upper floors. For the next 3 nights I was told I had to move in the evening but no room was ready... Wont say here again!

Nice hotel at a good price

Pros: Friendly staff, convenient for food shopping, nice rooms.
Room was nice and comfortable, breakfast was good (nice selection of fruit, cereal, hot food), no restaurant on grounds (only a bar with a limited selection of food). Close to food shopping (within walking distance). I really liked the fact that this hotel is a vegetarian hotel and does not serve non-vegetarian food or allow non-vegetarian food on grounds.
