Conveniently next to airport. Airport pickup went very smoothly. Not many places on shuttle but it comes around enough. Check-in was slower but we lucked out to be able to check in so much earlier. Resto was nice and kids enjoyed the pool. Great stay!

At first I was a bit concerned about booking a hotel so close to the airport. However, it turned out to be close enough to all the places that I wanted to see and/or the hotel is a stop for tour operators. The room was clean, comfortable and right near the beautiful pool. You can order food from the bar, your room or sit in the restaurant. It was all good, but sometimes I did feel like it was taking a tag bit long to receive my order. Part of it is they don't rush you here. The staff was very sweet and always had a ready smile. I especially appreciated Seni. However, I was shocked by 2 things: 1) They charge for wifi usage $75 FJD for a week and 2) they wanted to charge me $5 FJD/ towel if I took the otherwise free beach towels with me on a tour!!!

Highly recommend staying here. It’s affordable, close to the airport, nice pool and the food in the restaurant is good! One of the best laces we stayed in Fiji. The rooms are a bit dated but we didn’t really care. The staff was phenomenal and we had a great stay. After staying at the gateway for a few nights we moved to a 5 star hotel 20 min away and it was honestly a downgrade. Wish we had booked more nights at gateway!

The hotel by Fiji standards is quite good. The only drawback is the poor internet in the lobby. We didn’t pay for the internet in our room. For the price, the Gateway is a great option and is super close to the airport.

Extremely impressed with our stay at Fiji Gateway Hotel - hotel staff were all so friendly and welcoming. An easy walk from the airport to the hotel, they do provide a shuttle but it was an easy 5 minute walk from the airport. Relaxing afternoon around the pool with a cocktail. Highly recommend the couples massage, excellent therapists. We enjoyed dinner at the resort - delicious and efficient service. We will definitely return as it’s a wonderful hotel when transiting to the islands.
