My husband and I had the best room overlooking the river. Our room was extra cozy with a fireplace and jetted tub. All the stores and restaurants were in walking distance and was super convenient. we loved our stay in Mystic and hope to return again!

Very good but not spectacular.
The Whalers Inn is a lovely hotel right in the best most walkable part of town. For the location alone it is worth a premium. Having said this, the rooms are not particularly special and spacious, the walls are quite thin so noise travels, so the facilities are not at the level of the location. Hotel has a very nice feel though and the staff are very attentive, polite and helpful.
