The condo itself was lovely—comfortable, with an amazing view. The property management team was helpful when I first arrived, which I appreciated.
That said, I can’t give it five stars for a few reasons. First, the bathtub was not clean when I arrived. I took pictures but ultimately decided to just clean it myself and move on. No big deal—until I received a shockingly abrasive text from the maid the night before checkout. I don’t expect a warm and fuzzy farewell, but this was straight-up rude and aggressive.
Speaking of checkout, 10:00 a.m. felt a bit too early compared to the norm. And considering the maid didn’t bother cleaning the tub in the first place, I’m not sure she should be interacting with guests either. Not everyone is a people person, but wow—this was an unnecessarily unpleasant encounter.
Would I stay here again? Maybe. Would I brace myself for a surprise verbal smackdown before leaving? Absolutely.
