Good hotel
Posted 14 Feb 2020 on HotelsGood service at reception. Room is clean, and WiFi is comfortable. But no toothbrush. Location is good for visiting grand mosque in early morning. It takes about 20 minute walk.

Terrible Hotel Don't Stay There
Posted 9 Mar 2019 on HotelsThe hotel arranged transport from the airport to the hotel. The driver was not there we we arrived. We waited and searched and called. Finally they showed up.
When we arrived at the hotel on check in the reception did not show us how to get to our rooms or even give us proper directions to get there.
The food was not good at breakfast.
The best part of the hotel was checking out so I don't need to stay there again.

Thanks for your comments , We will go through this and upgrade .We would like to inform you that you booked through Expedia.com and there was No Airport pick up requested ( Airport pick up will be charged OMR 10/- and drop to Airport complimentary basis for all the guest ) even though our staff honour your call and sent the driver to pick you from Airport free of cost Kindly see it

Not a great hotel.
Posted 25 Oct 2018 on HotelsVery uncomfortable bed, sheets not soft at all, very loud air conditioning. Hotel in a strange location, can't go for a walk anywhere. Decent breakfast. Pool is ok.

Airport transfer

Posted 13 Apr 2018Good value for money. pleasant staff, especially cleaning staff. They went over and above tidying my room, which was very nice of them. However the air conditioning needs cleaning and servicing, the rooms smell of urine when you put it on, given the heat you have to use it. If this could be fixed and new carpets and a lighter decorating scheme/refurb , it could be a really good hotel.

Room service woke me up at 130 am at night to sign for a bill which according to him had a mistake before.This could have been easily rectified in the morning or before check out.

Nice hotel far away from sights

Pros: excellent food, relatively quiet location
Cons: speed of the internet
Location: mosk
all the other sights in Maskat are far away
While I ejoyed the service and food, I don't recommend this hotel to someone without car. Distances are too far (except to the airport and the grand mosk).
