Posted 29 Nov 2015 on HotelsI literally had the oldest room in the world. Carpet was gross, shower curtain fell as I was taking a shower, and bed was rock hard. Reaked of smoke despite non-smoking. However, I knew I was not staying at the InterCon, so I was not under any illusion. My main focus was a place I could shower, sleep and had A/C...which this place checked every box. Staff friendly! For the price I paid, especially during the National Day holiday month, I am not upset. If all you need is a place to sleep and store your junk, this is a good pick.

Location: You need a car then muscat and surrounds are accessible
This is a plain and simple hotel. The aircon failed after one night so moved to a suite without fuss. If you are using as a base it's ok.

Pros: The staff was helpful and well mannered.
Cons: A wall mounted TV would make the room space look bigger. Hand towels cab be provided.The room cleaning can be improved.

I stayed in this hotel with my wife for two days and found it to be reasonably good. I had booked for a Double room and the room size was fair with little space to move about. There was a small fridge and Tea/Coffee maker on a Writing Table and a very old model TV on a side drawer.
The breakfast was basic with a few fruits, bread and a few snacks options. The menu of the breakfast was changed the next day.
Though not a memorable stay, we had a comfortable stay in the hotel.
