"I was excited to stay here because the picture advertised for the room. The picture of the room on the website had an amazing bathroom, a big room, and a massage chair. "We visited in wJanuary from the United States and absolutely loved our stay. The hosts are extremely helpful, and offer transportation to/from ski rentals, slopes, restaurants, and hot spring/onsen for bathing. The host gave us recommendations for dining and we felt like we were at a 5-star resort with no worries. Very cozey stay for those seeking and enjoyable adventure to Zao Onsen. "We did not use the onsen and we were only here for one night. Things to note… it’s very hard to travel around this area! No Ubers lol. We were able to get people to call us taxis so make sure to have cash! We loved our traditional room, I just wish for foreigners they had instructions. Other than that, we had a great stay :) very peaceful and beautiful area. The view of the mountain was awesome! "
