Good hotel that is close to the tram. Good service and decently sized rooms. Breakfast however is less than mediocre and well overpriced.

Reception staff were brilliant! Arrived at 6am and was offered an early check in. Heaven sent after an overnight bus trip. I've stayed in motel one before and love the decor. The bed was comfy and pillows were great too. Air con efficient and a large window that opened fully. Tram stop outside runs frequently from opposite the main train station but it's an easy 15-20 min walk to the centre. A nice restaurant two streets away and a brew house 5 mins walk (towards the station). Breakfast was fab. Lovely pastries, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts etc. Nice outside seating area too. All the staff are friendly and speak English although were patient enough to let me try out my poor attempt at German!

Nice lobby decor & great location for train travel
Very clean and updated but not a lot of amenities (ie, shampoo is also body wash, no conditioner or body lotion , no safe in room). But the price was great as was the location. Just a 2-3 block walk to the train station and 1 stop to the Main Station. Very convenient. WiFi was free and worked great. Staff was friendly and let us print our boarding pass as well as other documents at no charge. Did not eat the breakfast as it looked rather meager for the E9,50 price. There is a Lindl grocery store behind the hotel where you can get a .19 cent pretzel or other breakfast items.

Not enough working alarm clocks. The hotel expected you to use a smart phone instead. Ad on internet was misleading in that the hotel is really not that close to the Munich main train station. Quite a walk with luggage. No power outlet near desk for computer plug in.

A Comfortable Stay for Business Travel
It was a brief stay. Motel One was easy to reach and also to access other public transport. I had an early flight and the attendant helped with an early breakfast.

Very nice hotel. Clean nicely decorated and good service. There are some very nice restaurants within a few blocks as well that are better quality and better value than the ones in the old town. Only drawback is that it is a long walk from train station.

Another great Motel One
What's not to like about any Motel One? Always clean, comfortable and stylish, everything you need and nothing you don't need. OK, the rooms are not huge and there's not a lot of storage space but for a few days that's not a problem. The comfortable lobby is open 24hrs and the prices for drinks and snacks are very reasonable. This hotel is on a tram route (easy to get to Munich's main station) and a few minutes walk to an S-Bahn station. It's just opposite a nice Vietnamese restaurant and Munich's most famous (so I'm told) dirndl and lederhosen shop is on the next corner. A Lidl supermarket and DM drugstore are a couple of minutes walk away. And the reception staff are all very helpful and friendly. Nearly forgot - you can get an excellent German hotel-style buffet breakfast, lovely coffee too. And very comfortable beds!

This motel was clean and the staff were informative and nice. It was close to the S-Line trains to get to the central station. Also the tram stop was a 2 minute walk at most. We only had the breakfast one day and it had all you need to start your day. I would consider this hotel again if I'm back in Munich

Best location to food and trains!
Hotel was wonderful, superb breakfast, excellent evening staff, so clean and modern. Fantastic location for walking to the Central Train station, to a beer garden and restaurants. Staff was gracious in recommending places to eat and we enjoyed each one. Would definitely stay there again. Room was small but comfortable.
