Hotel was a walking distance to/from Munich hbf, convenient if you have a train to catch early in the morning/come in late at night. There are also several restaurants on the same street that are open late.

I can't say enough good things about the Maratim. From the front desk to the room itself, I was extremely happy with my experience. Only a block from the Hauptbanhof and a short metro ride (or longer walk) to the Marienplatz, the hotel is incredibly convenient, too.
Just stay here. You'll be glad you did.

Great hotel, friendly staff, really nice room. Within walking distance of the historic old town and 1 minute walk to Central Station and the excellent underground system.

This hotel was a great disappointment despite the fact that we booked a ‘double room’ and specifically requested a double bed. We were told on arrival that this hotel does not have double beds in rooms for two people. They only have twin beds pushed together. The manager also insisted that this was the case. If I book a double room and my confirmation says double room, I expect a double bed (as we got in the three other Bavarian hotels we stayed in on our our trip). Wouldn’t stay again. The breakfast is good and the pool is nice but the area is rough (strip clubs and dodgy guys hanging around) and the staff were not helpful.
