Very welcoming, clean, well maintained property. Aair-conditioned rooms with attached bathroom. The common areas are lovely: spatious, decorated with local art and fresh flowers, impecably clean. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. They can do your laundry. The place is 4 min walk from Munda airport. The shops and produce market are nearby. Dining at Agnes Lodge is across the street as is the jetty for all type of water activites. Higly recommended.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us find tours for the area. I was a bit disappointed with all the rubish around the townsite. Also note to future travelers the water is not potable so you must buy drinking water. Cold showers, but it is always warm there so I found it refreshing.

Nice stay in Munda

We enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful. We liked the lounge area and access to cooking equipment. Solomon was helpful in arranging a visit to the war museum and ride to the airport.

Probably the best choice in Munda - like a homestay with the locals We stayed for a week at Qua Roviana while diving in Munda. having booked by Expedia, we actually arrived a day earlier due to some unexpected flight schedule changes. Solomon, the owner was very accommodating letting us move into the room upon arrival a day early and sorting out the paperwork later during our stay. Luckily there was vacancy, as we learned later this place is often fully booked. The rooms are on the 2nd floor of a large house, and provide a great homestay feel. There is a large and comfortably common room with sofas, at flat screen TV, and a common kitchen that is reasonably well equipped. The kitchen was a big plus, as the dining options in Munda are very limited to say the least (the only public dinner option is the limited and not very tasty menu at the Agnes resort). Another big plus is the large veranda with comfortable chairs in front of the rooms, where you can lounge and enjoy the sunset while sipping on a cold drink. On the veranda or while cooking dinner; we’ve met some interesting people from different walks of life, from around the south pacific being in Munda on government or company business trips. The rooms are small but functional, with a good size fridge, and hot shower. To stay cool there’s a ceiling fan and a small aircon – the built into the window type, which is quite noisy if you are a light sleeper. The bed was comfortable enough, and daily housekeeping made up

Nice stay

Nice staff but don't expect luxury accommodation. Rooms are properly serviced once a week. WiFi went off for 3 days following a storm. Perfect for the easy going traveler though. As nicely located as Agnes Gateway lodge. 5 min walk from the airport.
